This pretty '71 RG is a well cared for Cardinal with a fresh engine, due to a prop strike related to a challenging landing. The engine was IRANed by Poplar Grove, includling replacement of the cam. The installed Garmin 430W and dual G5s make it well equipped for IFR travel, and the Garmin panel mount ADS-B makes it welcome in all airspace. The spar was inspected, cleaned and treated with AV8 in 12/2017. The aircraft is currently in Kenosha WI for annual inspection at Aviation Plus. | |
